Before you create a multiple choice ABC question, it might be helpful to understand the general outline of an exam question. We explain that in the Creating a question article.
This article is about the second step of creating a question: setting up the answer section.
This type of question has no content in the its options, just letters. It's usually used with a reading passage or an image of a question that already has the options included
From the Designer page, click on an existing question or click on the Add new question button.
Scroll down to the answer section. From the Answer type dropdown, select Multi choice ABC.
You can use the Select mode drop down to select the mode of the question. The default mode is Single select. You can also select Multiple select to allow multiple answers to be selected by students
You can add more options using the + icon. You can also delete an option using the x icon.
Select the correct answer by enabling the switch below the option.
Click on the Save changes button to save the question.
